El Ateneo de Madrid through Opengap organize this open competition, looking for ideas that focus on updating and revitalizing the space Lobby the building located at number 21 Calle del Prado in Madrid.
Currently, space, meets only dignify the representational function of access to the entity. This should not be only a prelude to access, such as today, but card configured as active presentation of the many activities held within the ATENEO.
El Ateneo de Madrid and Opengap invite architects, designers, interior designers, students and other professionals concerned, of any part of the world, to participate with strong proposals, imaginative and original.
The existence of a large steps, the power of the vertical and the other elements, offer multiple possibilities and approaches, but also the degree of protection and space specifications make this competition a complex and exciting challenge for participants.
