"You can only create something new if you get rid of the bonds and break down barriers. And that's what interests me" says Aaron de Mey, the Artistic Director of Lancôme makeup. The tone is set: In his first collection for Fall 2009 Makeup, Aaron de Mey openly declares its quest for freedom and irreverence.
With its classic style and brilliant rebel, the artistic director of makeup has created Declaring Indigo, her fall collection as a tribute to the free spirit of the Parisian who expressed their anger or who dazzled with their charm and sensuality.
Declaring Indigo is a manifesto, full of energy and taste, in which the Indigo Blue color replaced the classic black to become the "new black." Should be carried along with a few taps bright gold and dull red.
These intense primary colors inspired by the Parisian coat, can create both a sophisticated look and triumphant as a more natural look. This new "French Revolution" combines the elegance and irreverence. And reinvent the image of a Parisian woman attractive without sacrificing his indomitable spirit free.
Declaring Presenting Indigo was held in a boat on the River Seine. Aaron de Mey is inspired by the uniforms of the French Revolution to create this new line.
